Terms of Service

FleetBase operates a freight marketplace technology platform — a marketplace where shippers post loads or request an Instant Quote, and FMCSA-verified carriers browse and book them. We are not a common or contract carrier: we don't own trucks, employ drivers, or physically move freight ourselves. Carriers using the platform are independent businesses responsible for their own FMCSA operating authority, insurance, and equipment.

• You must provide accurate information when registering, and keep it current.
• Carriers self-report MC/DOT numbers; we verify them against FMCSA's public registry and display the result — verification can be re-run at any time from the Company tab.
• You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
• Certain actions (booking a load, booking a truck, deleting your account) require completing identity verification through Stripe Identity first.

• We don't take a commission on carrier freight. Booking a load on the board costs a carrier nothing — there is no platform percentage taken out of the rate a carrier agrees to haul for. A carrier who books a load is owed the full agreed rate.
• Booking deposit on board bookings — charged to the shipper who posted the load (never the carrier), held after the carrier's offer is confirmed, and transferred to that carrier in full once pickup is confirmed. FleetBase keeps none of it; it's the shipper's money moving to the carrier, not a fee we collect. It's refunded to the shipper if the booking is cancelled before pickup. A carrier booking their own posted load (self-haul) pays nothing at all.
• Instant Quote — the price you're shown before checkout is the price, broken out by line item (base rate, fuel, tolls, and any platform margin) so you can see exactly what you're paying for before you commit. Nothing is added after the fact.
• Carrier Pro ($49/mo) subscription — optional, billed and managed through Stripe; you can cancel any time from your billing portal (Profile → Company → Manage subscription). This subscription, not a cut of anyone's freight, is how the platform makes money.
• All payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your card or bank details.
• A booking deposit is refundable up until pickup is confirmed (at which point it has already been transferred to the carrier for work performed). Subscription charges already billed for an elapsed period are non-refundable. Contact us through the in-app support inbox if something went wrong with a specific charge.

• Post accurate load and truck listings — no fictitious freight or capacity.
• Honor bookings you accept; use Control Tower to update status and communicate delays.
• Don't attempt to circumvent FMCSA or identity verification requirements.
• Don't use the platform for anything illegal, or to move prohibited freight.

You can delete your own account and personal/company information at any time from the Company tab, once identity verification is complete. Already-archived bookings retain a snapshot of your info as it existed at deletion time — deleting your account doesn't erase another party's record of a completed shipment.

The platform is provided "as is." We facilitate connections between shippers and carriers but aren't a party to the actual transportation of goods, and don't guarantee the accuracy of any listing, quote, or ETA. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FleetBase isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, or from the acts or omissions of a shipper or carrier using it.

If these terms change materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
