What it actually costs to run here
Listing trucks and browsing the board is free, up to three truck listings — there's no subscription standing between you and the freight. Carrier Pro is $49/month and exists for one reason: unlimited truck listings once three isn't enough. Nothing about the board changes when you upgrade.
On the money itself, the platform takes no percentage of your linehaul. A shipper's Instant Quote carries a 0% platform fee. When someone books your truck off the board, the fee on that booking is yours — you set it, anywhere from 0% to 25%, it's shown to the shipper before they commit, and it's paid to you. There is no broker margin taken out before the rate reaches you, because there is no broker.
Why verification cuts both ways
Every carrier here has their operating authority checked live against federal records — active authority status, out-of-service status, liability and cargo insurance on file, safety rating and crash history. Identity is checked separately, against the individual behind the account, not just the business.
That's a step to clear on the way in, and it's also the reason the shipper posting the load knows what they're getting. The same checks that verify you are what keep unverified operators off the board you're bidding against.
Tracking that doesn't need another app
You don't have to buy anything to be trackable: the phone already in the cab is enough, and GPS hardware works too if you already run it. Either way the shipper sees where the truck actually is, not a "last seen" guess from hours ago.
