FleetBase is a freight marketplace: shippers post what needs to move (or get an Instant Quote), carriers who've verified their own FMCSA authority browse and book it, and everyone tracks the shipment together until it's delivered. We're primarily a technology platform, not a fleet — most of the freight moving through here belongs to independent carriers, our own operating account included.
Carriers on the platform are independent businesses responsible for their own FMCSA authority, insurance, and equipment. We don't own trucks or dispatch drivers — the board just connects the two sides directly.
